Introduction:
Everest region popularly known as the roof of the world, and the highest peak on this planet earth, where interested and keen travelers can join in for picturesque trekking or other varied adventures from mountaineering, trekking peak climb to cultural and scenic walks around lovely Sherpa traditional villages interwoven with Buddhism religion and fascinating culture of Tibetan origin.

Walk leads you to moraine and remorseless fields of ice and glaciers with constant views of Mt. Everest and adjoining peaks with notorious Khumbu Ice Falls that feeds the Khumbu glaciers and raging Dudh Kosi Rivers with several tributaries Imjatse and Bote Kosi River flowing from all direction eventually joining into Dudh Kosi River.
On the walk within the park and high Khumbu valley around Everest, wild-life can be spotted are the Himalayan Thar, Ghoral, Serow and Musk Deer, t he elusive and rare snow leopard, weasel, marten, Himalayan mouse hare (pika) with other exotic bird life the Tibetan Snow Cock / Hen, Pheasants and the colorful Danphe / Danfe  (Impeyan Pheasants) national bird of Nepal.
The park is populated by approximately 3,000 of the famed Sherpa people whose lives are interwoven with Buddhism religion of strong Tibetan influence and origin.
The main settlements are Namche Bazaar, Khumjung, Khunde, Thame, Thyangboche, Pangboche and Phortse. The economy of the Khumbu Sherpa community has traditionally been heavily based on trade and livestock herding.

Everest Region can be traveled whole year however March to June and September to December are the best months with clear sky and views of peaks, March to May when wild flowers are in full bloom.

The temperature can be cold in the morning and night time as per the altitude ranging from 2,500 m to above 5,000 meters high, most of the day a sunny with 16-20 degree Celsius but in the shade temperatures drops to 05 degree C. 
Winter months from November to mid February can be colder in the morn and night time dropping to - 10 to -12 degree C with pleasant day of 15 to 20 Celsius.
Access to Everest Region:

Popular and short way is taking a short flight of 30 minutes from Kathmandu to Lukla.
Other routes, taking an old original and classic way taking an overland drive from Kathmandu to Jiri which is about 5-6 hours driving distance.

Other means taking the other side of Everest from Arun valley with a flight to Tumlingtar from Kathmandu and then walking through lowland to reach higher Khumbu valley at Namche and beyond.


Ultimate route with challenging adventure from Rowaling valley to Everest via high Tashi-Labtsa pass of above 5,755 m high and other high route from Makalu and Barun area to reach at Hongu and Imjatse valley around Everest taking a most demanding trek and climb over Sherpani Col.
